Performance enhancement of shunt active power filter using soft computing techniques

چکیده

Nowadays, active power filter (APF) is the most popular device for harmonic compensation. This paper presents soft computing techniques compensation of currents harmonics using a shunt (SAPF). The method includes 3-phase supply system with current-controlled voltage source converter (CC-VSC) having an input coupling inductor and output tank capacitor self-supported DC bus. performance can be enhanced by such as artificial neural network (ANN) controller gravitational search algorithm (GSA) generating control signals SAPF. current reference calculated to compensate THD synchronous frame (SRF) technique proportional integrator (PI) controller. From result, it evident that both reduce computational time & fast convergence which improves during transient period makes self-tuned. proposed structure simulated MATLAB/Simulink subsequently experimentally verified. presentation originated suitable numerous features quality enhancement structure.
